Personal Change Process: Section 4, Mission Statement
Mission Statement (Creed)
- I will be forthright and honest; to myself, and others.
- I will not live in extremes.
- I will be cautious with money, yet allow spending to enjoy life.
- I will focus on studies & work, yet still take time with friends, family & hobbies.
- Conversely, I will enjoy friends, family & hobbies yet still give proper attention to studies & work.
- I will eat well and take care of my health needs.
- I will attend to the spiritual, for this is the true source of strength.
- I will always be open to listening to others, and I will always show respect.
- I will continuously seek ways to improve.
- Happiness, love, joy and peace do not happen to you, they are choices you make.
- I will remember this creed in my daily life.
Activities for a happy, healthy life: - Challenge yourself in your work
- Challenge yourself in your fun/hobbies
- Exercise
- Pray for and seek wisdom to keep everything else in order
- Be thankful
Goal for the week: - Pray for and seek wisdom to keep everything else in order. This has been lacking as of late. One wouldn’t think we could get too busy for what is most important, but sometimes we do. Allowing this to happen will lead to a gradual decline in all areas of life. This week, I will take time each day to pray and seek God for His guidance and grace in my life. I’m sure if I do this, I will be thankful.
