Individual and Classwide Case Studies
My individual case study was on "Austin," a first grade student of average academic functioning. He was reported by his teachers to be "excessively hyper and impulsive", often pushing or moving peers out of his way. Behavior Intervention Plan (Word document) Behavior Support Plan (Word Document) Technical Adequacy Report (Word Document) Graph of Austin's pre/post intervention classroom disruptive behaviors. (Note: this graph is of all classroom disruptive behavior observed during afternoon observation sessions. Classroom disruptive behavior includes such behavior as being out of seat, speaking out of turn, etc.) Graph of Austin's pre/post intervention physically aggressive behaviors. (Note: this graph is of all physically aggressive behavior as reported by Austin's teacher for each week. Physically aggressive behavior includes such behavior as kicking, slpping, or physically moving other children.) My class-wide case study was on a "Kindervention" class. Teacher reports show that she felt the class, which had already attended a first year kindergarten class, was too "unruly and immature." A Mystery Motivator intervention was implemented with great success for this class. Technical Adequacy Report (Word Document) Graph of the class' pre/post intervention behavior.
